Jon Rahm is set to play his first non-major PGA Tour event since joining LIV Golf.
What's happening?
Rahm and Legion XIII teammate Tyrrell Hatton will compete in the Genesis Scottish Open.
Rahm's last non-major PGA Tour event was the 2023 Tour Championship.
Why it matters for Jon Rahm
He reached a conditional release agreement with the European circuit back in May.
This allows him to compete in the co-sanctioned event as a DP World Tour member.
What comes next?
Rahm and Hatton will tee off at the Renaissance Club in North Berwick, Scotland, in two weeks.
They won't play on LIV again until July 23-26 at LIV Golf U.K.
Rory McIlroy, Ludvig Aberg, and Viktor Hovland are also joining the field.
The official field will be released the Friday before tournament week.
Rahm is a two-time winner on LIV this year.
Hatton won LIV's most recent event at Valderrama earlier this month.
LIV's event in New Orleans was canceled, so Rahm and Hatton will focus on the Scottish Open
